2012 is shaping up to be a brilliant year for Folkestone and this is just a small e-mail to keep you up-to-date.If you wish to have our newsletter, e-mailed or delivered, simply reply to this e-mail. Is a great way to keep on top of the events and town centre news.

Tickets for the Folkestone Proms, to be held on the Leas on Saturday 30th June, have been made available on the Folkestone Proms website. Google page for details.There is also a Facebook event page on the airshow.
 

The Folkestone Jubilee Airshow is shaping up to be a huge event on the Folkestone calendar this year and interest has been incredible. While the website is in development, please see this Facebook event page for the latest information.
We've recently updated our social media too with the creation of a YouTube channel which we hope to use to advertise local videos and our own of events in Folkestone. If you have any recommendations, please feel free to let us know. Folkestone has been named in the Top 10 of Britain's Up and Coming property hot spots by the The Daily Telegraph.

With the government’s announcement this week of a £400m boost to construction, the stage is set for a flourish of new developments.

The Telegraph said: "Where the diggers and the hod carriers go, there are sure to be fantastic investment opportunities, as well as good deals on flats and houses. Here are 10 up-and-coming areas with extensive house-building projects."

And Folkestone made it to number seven with Corby in Northamptonshire at number one and only two spots behind Cambridge.

The Telegraph said about our town: "This is another ideal location for commuters wanting better value than London. Folkestone also offers the family fun of living near the sea, but is only an hour’s commute from St Pancras."
